Happy Life of Things is a small record label, so the site only has a little bit of content with samples and contact information. This information was housed in a 3 column interface set to a baseline grid defined from the metrics of the logo. The interface is a tree navigation so it is intuitive without explanation due to the visual hierarchy and use of animation.

The background is a controlled random splash of colours, inspired by unusual shades on pink, blue and yellow seen at sunrise because that is something which makes everyone happy. These backgrounds morph as the user navigates, reminiscent of looking through a prism. Keeping with the theme of light the menu items and sample play bar glow brightly, while other elements remain black to ensure no conflict with the wide array of colours the background provides.
